E-Hub Excursion - 24th Feb

YEAH, I STILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO FER

KINDERGARTEN EXCURSIONS! =)

Sounds so old school huh?
Haha..

My ex-boss called me up to help take the kids to E-Hub at Pasir Ris!
Where's E-Hub?! It seemed I haven't been keeping up with times..

So the ferris wheel at Downtown East is called E-Hub, a huge wonderland fer lil' tots.
I didn't know it's called E-Hub. It's a Children's Wonderlanddd..

Took care of 2-turning-3 playgroup toddlers.
Honestly, I was disappointed fer a moment cause I had already befriended the Nursery kids before I was introduced to Playgroup kids.

Was praying that the Playgroup 2 won't poop when I'm in charge of them too. LOL.

Thankfully, Playgroup 2 was a great bunch too! Extremely adorable!
Had the opportunity to be isolated with them when we boarded the ferris wheel.
This lil' boy named E**** (fergot, heh) talked like a 6 year old!

I miss them!!

Bumboat Ride! - 21st Feb

Bumboat ride was pretty ‘cool’!

Hahaha, just because we got it fer FREE. WHEE!
But not before we spent almost an hour queuing fer it!

Singaporeanss. Heyyy.. NO!
This shall be my FIRST and my LAST time.

The experience I’d say was ridiculously time-wasting.

Reasons fer why I decided to take up the STB Promotion Ride:
No. 1 - Start of mid-sem break.
No. 2 - Wanted to sit the Flyer fer free. (Note: I’d only pay to sit the flyer after the IR is up)

So how did we end up with the bumboat ride?
KIASU Ssssingaporeans!

Sheesh. Even before the Flyer started to operate fer the day, people had already been queuing up overnight.
The queue at the Flyer’s station was horrendous
.

Overnight fer a flyer?
Ok, at least this was more acceptable than queuing up fer Hello Kitties. (comparing monetary value)
Still, this was totally absurd.

That’s how we landed up with the next free attraction since we're already up and about!

Sia la. Look at the queue. (fergot to take a photo of the Flyer’s queue!)
We’re the first batch to take the ride, so it wasn’t that bad.

Amanda and Alvin complained that we’re being so loserish.
Heck. I say the woman with a GUCCI bag in front of us was the ultimate loser.
Perhaps, that’s a fake too?! LOSER.

We were lucky to be able to snap a picture of the Merlion just before it got struck by lightning!
(This reminded me of being able to take photos of Dondaemun, S.Korea before it got burned down)

Lunch was at The Central, a Ramen place.
Alvin’s and Amanda’s friends raved about the ramen here.
VFM? I don’t think so. Ajisen’s more VFM and even nicer.

O yes, and we caught a Jap movie, K-20, with Regina later in the afternoon!

At least, it was an activity packed day.
Thank you Lord fer making everything come around fer good! =)

Regina's 23rd - 7th Feb

Yeap!

The girl's grown a year older now!

Her 23rd birthday was held 2 weeks after her actual at Sushi Tei and we had a lo hei!

Bet this was the smallest group all of us had lo-hei-ed with.
And also speaking? whispering? blessings over us in English while lo-hei-ing.

Miss Candice felt so surpressed till she suddenly shouted HUAT AR!
LOL!

Embarrassing!

Embarrassing!

Freaking embarrassing!

I was on at the porch minding my stuff when I let out a shriek that tore through the night!!

My neighbour who had been skipping at his porch (at 11.40pm) immediately looked over the wall to see what the commotion was.
‘Are you ok?!’

Still staring at IT, I looked up to where the voice was.
It’s been 5 years of since I moved here; I hadn’t met my neighbour in the eyes before.
What an awkward situation (fer me)!!

I stared at him and all I could say was, ‘O, Cockroach!’ before looking down again, terrified at the possibility IT might scurry across my feet.

‘O’, and he went back to skipping as if nothing happened.

After realizing what I said, I felt like burying my head six feet under!
Simply BIMBOTIC and RUDE!!! (Didn’t even thanked him fer his concern!)
Worse, I was dressed to the nines, (just got back from Vday’s dinner) so unglam! What would he have thought of me!

I was actually planning to feed my hamsters before I saw the gigantic stinking roach, so I ran in and shouted ‘Ah Konggggggg, wu ka zhua!’. (there’s a cockroach!)

‘Cockroach also scared!’ (Conversed in hokkien)

‘Yes, but I AM scared!’ and made sure the conversation dragged on and on while I scanned through every nook and cranny (jumping back each time I pushed something aside just in case the stinking roach was there) and finally said, 'ok, bo liao!!' (no more).

‘wa ka lu gong bo liao lu bo xiong xin.’ *yawned* (I told you it isn’t there anymore, you don’t believe.)

'Ok, lu ay sai ki kun liao.’ (you can go and sleep already.) Hahaha.

At the background, I could still hear the thumping of my neighbour’s skipping. -.-

Bleah. I bet he overheared our conversation and was rolling his eyes as he skipped.

May they over-roll till he can’t recognize me if we ever meet again!

Hur hur hur hur hur.. HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
