Work Life

Some points to why I am blessed to be able to enjoy work:


+ Designing a shopping mall with people is more fun than doing it alone. Gone are the days of hair twirling/wrenching


+ A whopping 17 NUS Archi people are here, which includes me. Considering my graduation batch has only about 90+ people.


+ Wednesday Weekly lunch gatherings for the AY‘05 batch. We make it a point to lunch at a better restaurant after each pay day


+ My potted non-spiky cacti named Calendostraphurasus (collectively) which I got them from Hort Park. I water them twice a week and may change their name again when I forget


+ Office’s located in a shopping mall. Early dismissal spells zig-zaging through the mall (be it Korean grocery or clothes stores) before hitting the train station


+ Friendly, helpful and patient colleagues are brownie points =)


+ Though I work till late, I don't seem to mind for the joy of the Lord is my strength, Amen.

Um.. To bathe or not to bathe

I actually wrote many pieces of blog post, leaving them to decay in my iPhone.

Wrote them during my 8 mins journey from Esplanade to Paya Lebar station on the way home from work. From Amanda's birthday to funny quotes of my tour guide's in Hokkaido.

I wonder when will they enter into my web diary someday.. I'm just too tired to switch on my Mac, christened Hemily (short-form for Hi Emily), after work every weekday. I figured I ought to give my eyes some rest..

Then comes the weekend. All the more I feel I should give my eyes a well deserved break. But more importantly, I find weekends too precious to let blogging occupy my time. Editing and montaging of photos can take up quite a bit.

Now, I'm just taking 3 mins to blog because I'm procrastinating to bathe. Good lord. Yes yes, I should get my butt up after I press "Done".
