Wardrobe Malfunction

XX sitting on the table looking down: ‘Hey, nice shirt. Ay, your shirt also has a zip ar?’

(Paused fer awhile. What she meant by ‘also’?)

Me: O ya! AHHHhhhhhhh! Help me zip it up!!!

Today's my interim crit presentation and I walked about with a shirt unzipped at its left side.
Thank God the board’s to my left during presentation.

The only other person whom I suspect might have seen it was H who noticed my earrings and commented it matched my floral print shirt.

Whacked him.
He thought it was my top’s design and it matched cause he couldn’t really understand girl’s fashion.

What a consolation.
IT wasn’t that conspicuous after all.
The zip was halfway up anyway, enough to see a stark contrast of a band of red beneath my dark blue shirt.

Cheebs.

P.S.: (Hello Mayee, your dear cousin taught me that)

Spliting Polygons

Calculating split polygons
Phase 13 out of 26
5 mins
>> 2 mins
>> 1 min

Time’s wasted like that while waiting fer a section/elevation to be out.
Sometimes it’d be more frustrating when I accidentally moved something which I didn’t intend to, causing it to calculate split polygons again. Like NOW.

While it splits polygons, I tried to:
  • Search fer split ends on my leg hair.
  • Do a leg split to which I’ve succeeded gracefully.
  • Split a durian using my 30⁰ blade penknife.

Right.
All the above’s in my imagination.
Fer a split second, I think I could do all that.

Was reading daily devotionals to pass time instead.
Digested 10 at one shot, not including the previous night.

That’s Saturday and Sunday fer me.

Leeum Samsung Museum

The whole compound consisted of 3 individually designed buildings by world renowned architects:

Modern Art Museum (Jean Nouvel), a Temporary Exhibition Center (Rem Koolhaas), and a Traditional Asian Art Museum (Mario Botta Architects)

Jin Tae brought us around fer the whole of Wednesday, which meant we skipped Western History Architecture Class.

Lunch was sushi!

Saw the big Maman Spider there.

Saw it again at Roppongi Hills 2 months later.

Photography is not permitted in the interior.
Hence with the outdoor sculptures!

CRAMMED!

Everywhere, the snow had melted saved fer this.
And someone had it imprinted with his foot prints.
Beautiful isn’t it?

Inside:
While viewing the exhibition, we’re given a digital guide that picks up the artwork displayed and gives a explanation.

The sky lit spiral staircase with long rectangular perforations by Maria Botta.
(The only feature which I found interesting and libertaing apart from the dark gloomy and cram spaces in his building)

Thought Rem Koolhaas's spaces were the best, easy to navigate fer potentially lost sheeps like me. It pulls visitors through from one exhibit to another. With this said, the curator must be a genius too.

My 22nd Birthday!

Had my birthday celebration done on LEAP DAY!
Haha! A special day fer an exceptionally special day. Hurhur.

This year’s celebration a unique one fer me again, it’s camping over at ECP!

My first outdoor camp ever. (and so was Candice though she didn’t stay over, and so was Amanda and Regina but they ever stayed over at school’s.)

‘But hey! You’re Girl Guide, you didn’t camp outdoors before?’

Er, ya.. So? The only camp they ever offered was in school.
What’s the point.

Alvin DarLIN organized the whole event.
From the borrowing of tents, to buying a flying saucer, to pitching it up etc.

I had my first few gifts from Alvin.
First, it was a supercool handmade cube (made up of many cubes, stuck together by sticker paper) which can be flipped in various ways to reveal photographs of us taken in Japan.

Second, it's a EZLINK CARD WITH MY FACE ON IT! Self made too!
The photo's the one he placed on my blog illegally.
And guess what's the stored value in it. Hurhur.

THANK YOU SO MUSH!

Over at my house..

The 8-man tent was overwhelmingly huge fer the 4 of us who’re staying over.
It had a bath at my house before settling down at the beach.

Haha, the fatarse tent covered my entire gate.
And neighbours stared at us as if we’re really going to camp just outside my house.

Over at ECP across BK.

The rest came over at 10pm!
Password was sangnilautama fer entry.

I was napping in the tent till I heard Regina shouting ‘Sangnilautama! Sangnilautama!!’
-.-
Funny though.

Played a round of Rummikub before it’s…

Yea! MY FIRST EVER DURIAN CAKE.

Generously sponsored by Alvin DarLIN and delivered to my house.
*MUACK*

It was really really MMMMMMMMMM!
Amanda was mmm-ing and ooo-ing all the way.

The durian paste's really rich, with bits of durian chunks in it!
Seventh Heaven.

It’s durian overload.

Amanda, Alvin and I had 2 huge servings whilst the rest had one.

Poor Candice, didn’t know she doesn’t like the KING OF FRUITS.
Thank God she doesn’t mind the ‘aroma’.

After that it was rounds of gin rummy till we popped the sparkling juice!

During this time, Alvin’s sound asleep despite all the noises we made.
Pig.

Talk about the mess at our tent.

All these while, there’s a flying saucer hovering around our heads to give us light.
Hurhur. Trust that Regina even made a nongsensical video clip out of it.

Before hitting the sack, Regina did her work using light source from the picnic lantern.
This scenario seemed oddly familiar as seen in television shows.
Haha.

Rise and shine!

Here’s the last photograph taken of my mountain bike at sunrise. Haha.
Sheesh.

It got stolen after sunrise!
Cursed and swore the damned thief.

But overall, it was really a nice experience!
Thank you to all who wished me a Happy Birthday and thank you C.A.R.who took time to come and Alvin Darling who made everything possible!

P.S: Advertising Emicakes fer free. since it's really fantastic!
Mine was  a classic D24.
A min of SGD50 to be delivered to your house.

A Birthday Card..
