I have to Rest from Cadding

http://www.answersingenesis.org

Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago. *

He saw an animal that liked to growl
Big furry paws and he liked to howl
Great big furry back and furry hair
"Ah, think I'll call it a bear".
*
He saw an animal up on a hill
Chewing up so much grass until she was filled
He saw milk coming out but he didn't know how
"Ah, think I'll call it a cow".
*
He saw an animal that liked to snort
Horns on his head and they weren't too short
It looked like there wasn't nothing that he couldn't pull
"Ah, I'll think I'll call it a bull".
*
He saw an animal leaving a muddy trail
Real dirty face and a curly trail
He wasn't too small and he wasn't too big
"Ah, think I'll call it a pig".
*
Next animal that he did meet
Had wool on his back and hooves on his feet
Eating grass on a mountainside so steep
"Ah, think I'll call  a sheep".
*
He saw an animal as smooth as glass
Slithering his way through the grass
Saw him dissappear by a tree near a lake .....

Ahh.. This song never fails to crack me up.

AhDumb had the easiest job in the world, to name the animals.
The animals came to him to be named some more. Wtf right.. LOL.

Genesis 2:19-20 "And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them:
and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;" ... (KJV)

He just sat back, relac, and name animals whilst enjoying everything on earth.
Ah Dumb was the caretaker of the earth you see, to take care of God's creation, populate the earth and to have a relationship with Him.
All this, before his dumb fall.

"While one might think this either mythical or an impossibly daunting job, God's Word is truth, and Adam's brain was flawless and fully functional. Whatever Adam called them, that was the name that stuck. If he came up with a name every 10 or 20 seconds, the whole job could have been done in less than eight hours, leaving time for a good nap." - He named all in a day! - www.faithclipart.com
